CH, talking out your arse there. Can't agree with that at all. League, especially at Origin level, is not as simple as that. Glenn Stewart probably scored shit all fantasy points on friday night but anyone who watched the game could see he was the best forward on the park and a class above. He's an Origin player. George Rose probably racked up a huge fantasy total - he'd have a heart attack after 5 minutes of Origin football.
People doubting Birds abilities as a forward are, to be quite honest, shit judges. He is behind only Gallen and Watmough as the best forward NSW's produced in the last 6 or 7 years. A bloke who is willing to make 20 runs a game where he is looking to offload or use footwork is going to have errors in his game. If Bird averages 1 error a game he's doing well.
Bird gets involved and tries to make a difference - something i can only really say for 3 or 4 Knights forwards over the last few years.
