I wonder if this transfer fee gets counted towards a club's cap? It shouldn't since it's not used in the NRL.

At the risk of sounding biased, I wouldn't disagree with a transfer fee system in the NRL to reward the clubs that do put the effort in their youth ranks and scouting.
