Coach Brian Smith decided big is best these days and rebuilt the team to go at the opposition with size and power. Whether it proves to be the right tactic remains to be seen, but he can't be accused of simply standing still and hoping for something to happen. I like the chances of a Parramatta revival, particually if second-rower Nathan Hindmarsh stays fit. They struggled without him when he was injured in the first half of last season, but when he came back the team started winning again. Watch out for the Eels - they're dangerous

It wasn't really the signings that Parra made they were just a suitable excuse at the time for Ray to attack Smith as I've hinted at in the previous post.

I sent Hadley a long email regarding the matter all the response said was he attacked me for spelling liar as lyer in the letter. nothing about the issues brought up in the email.

I would be interested in knowing what made Hadley change his mind many of Hadley's agendas, vendettas or whatever you want to call them last much longer then this one has.

When did Hadley start rating us again?
Was it after any siginificant news story like fitzy's coments re: Roosters salary cap?

I would put Cowboys in for Sharks, and Dragons in for Bulldogs and it reads quite well.

Gould has no clue. It's just for stirring pruposes. Best ignored or used as motivation for when we play Roosters!

I was appalled by Phil Gould's rating of the Eels chances. Every one who follows the Eels is hesitant about saying they'll take the cup, but thirteenth is ridiculous.

Of course his Roosters were rated as the best chance. Pull your head in Phil!

It is beyond me how this fellow is considered a guru.

Two things:

Gould hates Parramatta, he always is biased against us

In the same paper that Hadley said we were a danger for the premiership, Anderson rates us as 11th.


The reason is that this is dependant on the new arrivals and how they will a) fit into Smith's plans and b) gel with the rest of the team

This is so unpredictable so many will see it differently.

Peter Sterling is a great judge of the game of rugby league. It would be interesting to see how he rates this Eels squad.

Any poll on year end results at this time of the year is based on no form and little but nothing else then a bias.

All it does is sell newspapers and get people frsustrated through their own bias.

Everyone knows Phil takes it hard and long up the exit only gates.

I'm with Bartman simply use it as motivation, if you need anymore when you play the SCUM OF LEAGUE :evil:
