Tate exposed the line twice on Friday. You must have a specialist winger and Grothe is a game breaker. These tests will be tight and it comes down to special finishes which Grothe is renowned for.

A good finisher
Good wing defence (i.e. Not like Tate)
Good under higball

Both players fit the bill.

Why would Rooney be first cab off the rank? His form has been poor, and while he was the encumbent leading in to this series, he was not picked for the first two tests, so I wouldn't have thought the selectors would still see him as an encumbent.

Sing is on the way out. He has retired once already, and I don't think he needs any favours done for him.
