Jason Moodie is set to sign. Probably as cover for the loss of Patty.

You heard it hear first......

Where did you hear that? Would be good to see Moods back playing but I thought he was training for the fire brigade in Newcastle???

Colonel, Lets just say i may have been in the Tigers offices this morning when he arrived and headed to the office of Tim Sheens. So unless there was a fire in Sheens Office, ;-) i would say he was there for a chat on getting him to go around and cover for their lack of depth with Richards already injured.

Good pick up for the Tigers if he does sign. Good, honest and knows his way to the try line - and already has a combination with Hodgy.....

The only problem with Moods was that he cracks under pressure. Wont be a worry for the Tigers but, they wont make the finals.

I disagree - Moods always gave his all. He wasn't a flashy player but he did the job he had to. I think a lot of our players have been guilty of cracking under pressure in the past so its not a big issue.

9 handling errors in the last 2 games of 2001 really helped us

I wasnt arguing weather he was a good or bad player but i was saying that when it came to the business end of the season he never really stood up.

Before I opened this thread I was guessing the mystery player was Paul Cariage
Oh well good luck to Moods if he does sign with them

I do believe Moods knocked back an offer from the Tigers last year, as well as an offer from another Club )which will remain nameless) on the condition that he switched over to them half way through the season, which he decided not to do.

Maybe after being involved with the NASCA Sevens team he started getting bad withdrawl symptoms. Plus being back with his good mate Hodgo wouldn't have hurt either.

Please, refrain from mentioning that name in the future. Thank you.

Wow, the way Moods spoke after the Sevens I thought he was over all the training and what not. Good luck to him. I'd be happy to see him playing again on a regular basis.

Third cubicle from the right, in the toilets under the grandstand! ;-)

No No No Bartman, you've got it all wrong.
That USED to be Alan Jones' office.

It has reverted to being a cubicle.

Well, That's new news to me. If he signs with Tigers then Good Luck to him. They have 3 of the Starting Parra Players in there backline now. Allthough none of them really stood up for us last year.

last thing that i had heard about moods was he was tossing up whether to play for the mighty cessnock goannas in the newcastle comp but was undecided as he wasn't to keen to commit to the training....bit of a step up though i guess money can talk.
