The Guildford Owls J.R.L.F.C (located 10 mins from Parramatta) is a Club rich in History having fielded players such as Vic Hey, Bob O'Reilly, Paul Langmack, Mark "Spud" Carroll, Brett Kenny and upcoming stars Jack Afamasaga and Wella Hauraki to name a few.
Well, the Time has Come for GIRLS & WOMEN to join in the Rugby League Fun as part of your own Womens Junior Rugby League Competition.
The Parramatta District Junior Rugby League is planning to run a Womens Junior League Competition in 2005 and Guildford Owls has indicated that is interested in participating.
This is where YOU come in.
We are now seeking Expressions of Interest for Girls & Women aged from Under 6's to Under 17's who are interested in playing the great game of Rugby League.
As mentioned this is a Womens only competition which means you only play against other Girls/Women.
To be successful, we will need a minimum of 8 players for ages Under 6 - Under 8, 9 players for Under 9 - Under 11's and 11 players for Under 12's up (these are bare minimum numbers!!) with a usual team size as following Under 6 - 8: 13 player squad, 9's - 11's: 15 players, 12's - 17's: 20 players.
If you are worried about anything, please feel free to ask. Just remember that you will be Fully Insured.
