Was going to start a thread this up and coming fast bowler following his stellar performances the last few months in domestic limited over games for NSW and Australia A with an average of 14 and economy rate of 4.45.

Making his debut today in the domestic longer form of the game, bowling alongside Bollinger, Copeland, and Hazlewood, he has more than shown he belongs.

4/7 off 6 overs so far ...

Not yet 20 years old.

I like the look of him, you don't normally see cricketers of Indian descent with his kind of build, big and tall and quite sharp. It's good to see guys like him and Khawaja come through hopefully will inspire a lot of kids of Sub-Continental origin, we need all the help we can get

Sandhu has 4/21 off 10 overs against SA who are 5/65, whilst Hazlewood has 8.2 overs, 7 maidens, 1/4. They cant play him.

Hey Victoria have contributed Quiney, and The big x-factor show lately, they've more than held up their end of the deal

In fairness the vics have also contributed our best two quicks across the past two years in Patto and Siddle (Harris some argument if he's every fit).

Yep, they're killing it in the Sheffield Shield. He looks ok, looks short of a yard of pace to me.

He bowls about 130-140 region so not quick but at 19 will not doubt get that up abit once he develops abit more and gets stronger, but as someone like Vernon Philander has shown you don't necessarily need to bowl 150km/h to be effective

I thought he looked slow also but he's taking wickets at present, plenty of time also.

They couldnt score of Hazlewood yesterday but he still isnt taking a bag. He's bowling very well.

I'm not saying that having red hot pace is the be all and end all, Glenn McGrath proved that, Shaun Pollock proved that, and Vernon Philander is proving that now. With those blokes you could almost throw down a hankerchief on a good length a touch outside off stump and feel fairly confident they'd land it there a heck of a lot of the time, with the seam coming down bolt upright. Sandhu looks ok, I just don't see him quite in that class (that's not a sledge, those blokes are unbelievable).
