Gus Gould tonite reckoned he wouldn't be surprised to see Queensland add another halfback to their squad....he sounded like he knew something.
The way Prince is coming along, I hope its not him he's talking about....I want him for all our games.

I reckon Fien will be the one to be called up. He's played Origin before, missed out last year due to a severe leg injury that sidelined him for the entire season. Prior to that he was playing great football for the Cowboys.

It won't be Prince, it will be Seymour, if anyone. Combinations mean a lot these days and if another half back is to be added, with Lokyer at 5/8th I have no doubt that Seymour will be the half hack. However with Hodges and Tate also centres, I think Berrigan will play half back for Queensland.

Hmmm i think Seymour is a bit raw. But stranger things have happened. Will be interesting though, to see if another half is chosen. they seem to be lacking in that area while NSW have an abundance of talent in that important position. Gower, Orford, Sherwin, some may say Kimmorely. I bet the Maroon's would kill to have a scenario like that. Besides from Lockyer, they look to be struggling for another playmaker.

qld should stick with berrigan until the 3rd game and put prince in then.

the series will already be won by nsw and the tigers won't lose prince over the whole origin series.
then he can play the 3rd,have a mom performance and come back to the tigers and lead us towards the finals full of confidence.

You all know what Benno's like. If there is a Bronco in anything like half decent form for the spot he'll get it. Seymour would be no shock at all. He'd just have exactly the same role as he has now - shovel it out to Locky whenever he calls for it.

Still stand by my Smith call though. I think he may play at first receiver a bit in the games, even if he's wearing a 9.

If Bennet didn't play prince at half and a majority of the time not even in the top grade what in world makes anyone think he'd be considered for Origin?
