Penrith have done a little better of late. A 60% win record in the last 20 games. I guess that does unequivocally prove the theory that the Panthers are guaranteed to beat us. :roll:

I know it's a record that's slightly in favour of the Panthers, but it's hardly a convincing advantage, particularly when you consider that early 1990's Roosters was a far cry from the current team.

It's no where near as convincing as some of the other records. For example:

Average Scoreline: Roosters - 35 vs. Cowboys - 14

Even given those stats, I still wouldn't say we can count on beating this team. Look at last year's effort. Yeah, we won 32-0 in the first game, but only just scraped home in the second. Every team has a chance in every game (except for Souths of course).
