can someone please explain to me how delaney stuffed up?
he was against slater who is a speed machine, he did a great job by turning him inside then hitting for the corner.... where was his support? only PJ marsh who was a good 10 m away...
wasnt it PJ who missed Kafusi to let in that try?

What did Delaney do wrong in his whole season? i cant remember a crucial play where he stuffed up...

Some people on here really need to be taught a lesson. Whoever made this thread, jay jay and the other constant baggers.

I thought Delaney had a good solid game. I agree the O'Dwyer would have been my choice though.

I think McKinnon would have probably done something stupid and we would have lost by more.

That is usually my fall back point, but I guess its just easier for some on here to become keyboard jockeys.

What the f**k? Delaney had a very good game. I remember a criticism of him was that he was slow and immobile. Well he stood up Billy Slater and damn near beat him to the line. He showed great pace and mobility. So he's bagged for not finding a support player. Who do you suggest he should have thrown it to, Slater, or Cam Smith? They were the only players who would have recieved a pass, as we saw when Smith knocked the pass into touch. Delaney made a great break, got us in great position, and shold be praised for his efforts. If John Morris had any ability we may have even scored...Oh and Delaney kept King quiet all day...

Well that's the most pointless thing I've read all day/year.

Anyway, Delaney did what he had to do and was solid. At least he didn't take a backward step.

I'll say it only once, O'Dwyer should of been in the starting side.

I don't agree that his defence is bad. But I was glad to see Delaney named and he played well.
i think odwyer lacks the reading of defence... not not technique in tackling or missing tackles just reading the play in defence in the centres was his prob...

as we all know im a fan of delaney and thought he did well.... alot of ppl have been critical of him as everyone expected him to hit first grade and turn into the worlds best centre and win games for us by himself....
i think he played really strong on the weekend and did well the few weeks before hand. He will go onto the titans and develop further with more and more game time just like someone like Josh Cordoba will for us. Cordoba is not a world beater but will get better and better as time passes by....
