Hayne is going to start playing sh*t now. The Eels are doing what they always do, signing people to long term contracts and regretting it just because of a good season. Hagan would have not allowed this to happen.
Michael Hagan......
...... left the Eels because he knew he had lost the passion, steel, nous, direction, focus, determination and organisation required to coach the same Eels squad that entered the 2009 Grand Final...... Jarryd Hayne is part of that squad....
In comes Daniel Anderson.......
who continues the tradition left behind by Jack Gibson,
a tradition where many great Eels players were signed to long-term contracts (some with just a handshake), players who knew what the words integrity and conscience really meant and who lived to play the best they could possibly play for every dollar they were paid in advance....
Sterling
Ella
Kenny
Grothe
Price
Cronin
Taylor
Hunt
Edge
etc
etc
Hayne (and other current Eels players) will follow in the same footsteps left behind by the Eels Superstars (and great Coach) of the 1980's.
