Actually, it shows the exact opposite. Being objective would lead to voting for whoever you think the best player is even if they play for your team. Deliberately excluding your own players is as subjective as it comes.

Also...it's creeping in, isn't it?

Yes, however what I was meaning to say (rushed my earlier post), is that he can claim to be objective. If he just chose Hayne, then there's the possibility that people would assume he was being subjective.

Piss Hayne off then?? You people think you have a higher rugby league knowledge, by not agreeing with the media etc over Jarryd Hayne's exploits, trying to be humble whatever, but if Hayne played for a different team you'd happily go on about how great he is.

If you're a Parramatta supporter how could you ever get bored of talking about how great Hayne is? You'd happily go on talking about how sh*te he is, if he was stinking it up every weekend.

If he doesn't take out Dally M, that'll do me. This Eels supporter will be cheering him on anyway.

I agree

Great team spirit shown by Cayless there. Not. That's why there seems to be a division between the senior and younger players in the team. Hindmarsh and Cayless seem to be jealous or something of Hayne?? He's the best player in the game, they should be proud and thankful that he's on their side. Hindmarsh always states, "And the good thing about it is he's not getting a big head??"
Love Hindy but he needs to get over himself.
Do you also notice that our team doesn't celebrate tries like a proper team? It's always low key, ''Well done, it's just my job sort of thing?" I don't want them to be over the top arrogant yahooing d*cks like Melbourne, Brisbane etc but SHOW SOME LOVE boys. And remember, this stems down from when Hindmarsh bagged Hayne for supposedly "over-celebrating??" a try in one game when we spanked the Broncos a few years back. He had this sour look on his face?

Well Cayless may be captain, and Hindy the Parra legend but our best player is now Jarryd Hayne and will be as long as he plays for Parra. They should show him the respect he deserves, no matter how young he is.

Dumbest post I have read ever!

Cayless and Hindmarsh are not jelous of Hayne and they have said many times how well he is playing. Hayne himself has tried to deflect attention and remind people that its a team game which is very true, in the last 8-10 weeks it have been more then just Hayne but rather a team effort. In ealier games maybe Hayne was doing more work but it was everyone playing individually rather then as a team.

Cayless mentioned that Hayne has been in superb form but sowards had been more consistant so he gave the points to Soward. Hornby on the other hand said it was close between Soward and Hayne and gave it to Soward probably because he was a team mate... now that is not being subjective. Its like when they ask who do you think is favourites to win the comp and you were to answer your own team.

Guess Captain Cayless just got it wrong then?

Hope he doesn't get to the casino much. With the amount wasted on him last contract, I'm sure he does. And loses.

Caylo, sometimes when it's warranted, it's actually okay to back yourself and say your own team, or a player in your own team is the best etc and doesn't always automatically mean you are just being biased.

Alot of people on here are way overly un-biased to the point where they are almost cheering against their own. It's Parra supporters too. Do we have an inferiority complex or something?? We can cheer on our own when we do well, but not too much, what will the Sharks supporters think of us?

To not back his own team-mate, in that situation, when he was almost the un-backable favourite to win it, just shows disrespect to me.

He didn't look the happiest either did he while Jarryd was giving his acceptance speech?? Neither did Ray Price or the rest of the team?? Bloody Wendell was the happiest for him?

I dont think you have the right to question other's level's of enthusiasm for the team or players.

I think it is sad that you feel the necessity to express your points in such a negative way. As your man Jaryd has stated, he couldnt have done it without his teammates.

Give credit where credit is due, and realise that he hasnt done it by himself - otherwise if you dont accept others views and feelings towards other players....
