Peter Wallace you legend, you have stepped out of Lockys shadow and took it to another gear. If he keeps playing like this consistentally, he'll rival Cronk and DCE as one of the best Halfbacks in the comp.

I think we may be over rating him at least slightly in here..

He has been good, but still a few areas that need improvement. Kicking in particular. Felt like we were kicking straight to them on Friday.

Yep been playing very well, his goal kicking has been more than handy but him and Norman really need to improve there kicks, although Wallace will often make up for a bad kick with a great chase. He would have to be one of the hardest working halfbacks ive seen, always moving, makes numerous good tackles and hes normally one of the first to tackle on kick chases.

NSW, probabably not which is good, I don't want him to be selected although he deserves it at the moment over Pearce and Soward, Wallace and Carney are the two form halves for NSW at the moment lets hope neither get picked mainly for their clubs sake but also their sake.

I think Wallace works extremely hard and has definitely stepped it up this year. He's been kicking @$$ but the main problem I see, is that I find myself praising him more for his defence than his attack. He's a gun in defence, and solid in attack.

If he keeps improving like he has been, I don't have any doubt he'll get there, but to say he is one of the top halves in the comp is a bit of an overstatement. I think he is and always has been highly underrated, (especially while playing second fiddle to Lockyer), but with the likes of Thurston, Cronk and DCE running around, he's not quite the top half yet.

He was much better than both Cronk and DCE this weekend. I didn't see the cowboys game but Thurston hasn't been phenomenal this year yet. Very good but not great.

Going off this year alone, regardless of what you think of last year, he has been doing fantastically. His defence is excellent but you have to say his attack is up to it as well. Losing our biggest attacking weapon in Lockyer, we are averaging more points per round this year than last year. You cannot say that it is a step back in attack. He will never be Lockyer, but I don't know who some of you guys think Cronk and DCE are. They're not that much better than Wallace, if at all.

Just f**king swallow your pride and get behind him as the man to lead our attack, he is an excellent footballer and I'd be hard convinced that another halfback would be doing better in his position.

Yeah, Wallace is impressing me more each week. I go on a lot of other team forums and they mostly seem to be praising there playmakers and saying that their all 100% going to be picked for origin.

I am starting to believe there is a next level to his game. But look at DCE's age! -imagine what he will be at age 25-28! (PS he is a QLDER!)
