I think Wallace works extremely hard and has definitely stepped it up this year. He's been kicking @$$ but the main problem I see, is that I find myself praising him more for his defence than his attack. He's a gun in defence, and solid in attack.
If he keeps improving like he has been, I don't have any doubt he'll get there, but to say he is one of the top halves in the comp is a bit of an overstatement. I think he is and always has been highly underrated, (especially while playing second fiddle to Lockyer), but with the likes of Thurston, Cronk and DCE running around, he's not quite the top half yet.
