Anyone who reads this thread without knowing the score would be sorta confident the Jets won.
Bad luck, especially bad luck to you guys for losing those bragging rights for awhile.

I'll be stunned if we don't appeal Dylan's red. Apparently on the official register only his red, Petrovski's 44th minute yellow and Adam Griffiths' 6th minute yellow stand. Means at least Jedi and Matty Simon play next week.

Jets need to contract the Knights' management out to run the stadium... they've deadset got no idea. I also find it hilarious that for a ground sponsored by an electricity company, they can't get the scoreboard to show the score or failing that even keep time...

That just must have been last night, because in all the games I've been to this year, they haven't had any issue with it ...

As for the game, sums up the year and I sound like a broken record, but we are incapable of hanging onto a lead. The season's now officially over and I wonder if Con's happy about what he's turned this club into

Typical Newcastle.

And what about "No beer after halftime...But we'll still sell you a Jimmy".

Fantastic win. Despite a sh*thouse first half, quiet'ish support (until the equaliser) and just the general aura that is Newcastle, it is to date my most enjoyable trip up the F3.

It's the first time I've ever noticed it but to have no time or score up - they couldn't even manage to keep a temporary thing on the big screen to help us out. I ended up using my iPhone to keep time ffs.

Quiet-ish support? Never heard the Squadron from the Marinators end once, we made constant noise.

As for post-game management, they really need to look at it better. While I can understand not wanting Mariners people walking in the Squadron direction, why allow the opposite (Jets/Squadron fans walking toward the Mariners end)? All it achieved IMO was the removal of responsibility from the stadium staff and security to police outside the venue. Absolutely ludicrous to make people do a complete lap of the stadium.

But hey, 2-1....

One-nil.... and you f*cked it up!

That was a joke..never worked for the Youth League game of the A-League game.

They've f**ked it up a few times now, like the 2nd game v Victory where the clock stopped working for a bit

Agree 100%

Yeah I had to resort using my phone to keep time too

Same here, but vice versa.

What I thought was ridiculous, was the group of Mariners supporters in Bay 3, right next to the Squadron.

And what about the crowd figure? I've been in 12k crowds before and they were a lot smaller than the 11.4k one last night.

It seemed like 15k last night - they probably f**ked it up like they did with the scoreboad.

You'd be surprised NK... losing the western concourse immediately drops the figure, and the new seats in the south-western corner were practically empty. Goninan Hill was full and the stand was full... I was impressed with the crowd but the figure seemed low.
