you would think he would have been put into prems if he was anyshot.

Mullane would have more of a shot wouldnt he?

Yeh he could be as well jS , the only reason I'm leaning towards Ryan is he is a rep player he played for NSW in the U17 squad, others have said his to young but my reply to that is how old was ET when he played his first game in the top grade?

I think the type of chracter Hannay is came out when the club dropped him and he said he was going to get every cent he is earned and enjoy playing park footy.

Dog.

I agree with Lolesi, it's not his fault. I'd probably be doing the same thing in that situation. What are his options? Oh well club doesn't want me, I am just going to ask for a release so they don't pay my salary?

Contracts work both ways, they are supposed to bind the player and the club. If he isn't even being selected in PL it's pretty clear they don't even want him to bother trying to fight his way back into a place for FG.

Agreed.

As for the six, I'd go with Perenara as someone mentioned before. Watts could use some experience outside him and Perenara has the skills.

If Perenara's got the skills, he's the best option cos Sticky wouldn't put DeGois there

How does that Jameson fella go, haven't seen him play, couldn't they play a Watts/Jameson halves combo.

Find another club that wants him and play NRL. Say a big f**k you to the sharks and sticky. Get back into origin. Get a better contract for playing well.

Don't just be a muppet and take the easy way out.

All well and good, but it's hard to attract the attention of other clubs when you are playing park footy. It's pretty obvious the club said don't even bother, doesn't matter how well you play you won't be playing PL or FG for the rest of the year.

How is that supposed to increase his motivation to play well?

Ironic though. If they said to him we don't think you are in our plans, but would love to be proven wrong, play your heart out in PL, he is more likely to do so, and gains greater exposure to other clubs, which increases our chances of offloading him for free.

true to a sense

but if not in the club's future plans - why let him occupy a position that could be used to develop a player that is in the club's future plans

And even have a positive influence on the other players. Anyway that's done now, but is Ricky man enough to admit that he needs him or Seymour? Is Ricky the type of character to trackback?

Also, I don't like the idea (which seems almost inevitable) of a completely fresh halves pairing, and even worse, a fresh and young halves pairing. If I were to delegate, I'd be giving the 6 to a current first-grader. Misi has merit, he was pencilled for 7 in pl earlier in the year and Perenara does too. Gallen struggles to catch at the best of times so that's a preposterous idea. It's harder to pick than a broken nose i reckon. Ofcourse it could all become void should Dykes pull through come monday, no problem at all then.

I strongly doubt Sticky will backtrack. To me, it seems like he has real conviction in his decisions. Having said that, I don't know the bloke and I've never spoken to him. I'd have to think Perenara would be the best option out of the side we've named.

This is definitely the weakest team we've named so far this season on paper, I'm keen to see how they perform.

On the flipside, lets hope the Pom destroys Beau Scott and then the Dragons get an injury in the second row and Scott goes in there and Gallen munches the hack. I look forward to many a knock on.

Ryan Carr has been called up to premier league for monday night apparently. Not quite ready for firsts just yet though. Been out with injury for a good chunk of the season, so he is most likely not fit enough for nrl.

Fingers crossed Dykes makes it.

We dont need Dykes to beat dragons the dragons halves are very inexperienced as well, we are known to having some of the best depth, more then the dragons Watts and whoever ricky picks will do the job

That is a lot of blind faith in Ricky. Personally I'm not quite there yet.

I doubt having trust in Sticky's ability as a coach is gonna make a Premier League half a first grade one. Watts in himself will have to punch above his weight to perform. But Watts and ANOTHER inexperience half is suicide.
