Just had a look at zerotackle to check on the status of our halfback optinos and was surprised / horrified / stunned to see that Moltzen, Miller, Chisholm and Humble are all ending their WT stints this season. In other words, if we are not quick and re-sign at last 2 of the above we could find ourselves without a halfback option yet again for 2013.
We are probably most in danger of loosing Chisholm and Miller as they seem the ones most likely not to get a shot under Sheens this year. I'd love to extend Miller, dont know anything about Chisholm and dont mind Humble or Moltzen but would not be surprised to see Moltzen test the market and go, especially if WT tank it again this year.
Who do people think we should re-sign asap, who should we wait and see how they perform, and who should go?
I think:
Miller- re-sign asap he can be the future.
Chisholm- dunno- wait and see?
Humble- wait and see, he seems hungry and wants it.
Moltzen- unfortunately his duel with Lui for the halfback spot in seasons past cruelled his first chance as Sheens preferrred Lui, and in spite of his potential maybe time has marched on, and he is no longer a specialised halfback- maybe his future is as a utility and to test the market elsewhere for 2013.
