On form right now

1. Orford
2. Finch
3. Gower
4. Head
5. Sherwin
6. Kimmorley
6. Sheppard
7. Prince
8. Seymour

The rest aren't doing so well because there forwards aren't. Stacey is having a horrible year as he is working behind an ordinary pack and isn't as quick as he used to be.

I watched Keiran play for the Magpies last week and he is a dangerous player with the ball in hand, great kicking game and organises his team extremely well. That is what makes a great halfback. And on form this year and for the injured guys the last couple of years he is no.5

Top 15:
1. Andrew Johns
2. Craig Gower
3. Stacey Jones
4. Brett Kimmorley
5. Matt Orford
6. Brent Sherwin
7. Scott Prince
8. Brett Finch
9. Matthew Head
10. Kurt Gidley
11. Brett Seymour
12. Mark McLinden
13. Chris Sheppard
14. Michael Monaghan
15. Michael Witt

I can't beleive how one bad season from Jones can see him fall down so low in most peoples opinion. Just last year he was the 2nd or 3rd best halfback and easily the best NZ player.

Mate i hate Adam Dykes but he's a better halfback than Monoghan, Sheppard, Roberts and Williams...he just been in a losing team for most of the year

I don't think Adam Dykes should even be on the list, he's a very good player but should be at 5/8, thats why I rated McLinden quite poorly as he's a great player but would be better in another position.

Monaghan was excellent when he had Walker With him in the Halves. But this isn't his year (Again). Maybe next season he'll crack the top 10.

Preston Campbell should be on that list too... not necessarily in the top 10, but maybe in the 20.

He will be a very welcome addition for the Panthers this week, and (no disrespect to Roberts) gives us a decent replacement for Gower.

McLinden below the likes of Witt, McGuire and Dykes? Surely you jest, sir?

Nobody rates the NSW half-back?
Surely Head's a better half than him anyway.
Gus might get away with it but if he doesn't he'll cop it.

Gower
Head

Williams is a damn good player tho, better than the likes of dykes etc n he could be a star in the future. Head will be Australian half in two years.
