My good buddy half wants me to post this on his behalf. He and I collated a song list and since we are both musical expert, the fact that we could agree on those 12 songs no doubt provided a brilliant dialectic in forming an official top 12. This is his 12 though.

5. madvillain - all caps
6. lali puna - call 1-800-fear
7. junior boys - birthday
8. the notwist - consequence

11. wilco - ashes of american flags

The only song in that list I actually have heard is Demon Cleaner, which I think is a very good song.
