EXACTLY its been so friggin long, anticipation during the game is ew mongus.....all up till we let in 3 quick tries and give up. Then mount a comeback but leak tries. ;-)

This year I think we look quite desent and stable. Thurstons out Locky's still good but slowing. 20-20 in game 1 4N at the end of the season, so could surprise in this 1 game at the start of the season.

well its only ever happened once...and that was in 98 at home. the only anzac game to be played in nz by the way!

Agreed. The most enjoyment for the Anzac match comes from the anticipation for the potential upset. Then the inevitable happens and it's "Meh, same old same old" and back to the NRL. Suits me.
