They try but their arsenal or tool kit of tricks is very limited.

Well I think the problem there is that both of them are five eighths....neither of them are players who will try much or guide the side around, they both have their great strengths as sixes but when both the halves are sixes it takes out that dominant player who they can play off and they're both sort of aimless...

I've attacked Morts recently only to be shouted down by some on here. At least KK has shown some potential and the team looked better when he started to get on the run on squad. He has a couple of quiet games and people are into him.
Morts has been quiet all season yet he is untouchable to some people here, Morts hasn't got anything, besides being a backerupperer. He needs more than that to be a starting half or 5/8 in the NRL. Last year we went well with offloads and 2nd phase play because Morts and Robson couldn't direct the team around at all. He backed up some of these offloads, we went on a run and people thought he was the 2nd coming. He'll regret going for a 2 year contract expecting more money after the tv gets done, because he isn't going to get it. Well hopefully not from us.

If i see Morts do that little aeroplane dance/dummy in slow motion again i think i will jump off the grandstand!!!! I just think he get's himself confused by over thinking everything.

KK pokes his head through gaps all the time but no-one follows him, we have 2 tries this year when someone has taken a pass from him but we don't try it enough imo!!

Tonight they were both poor but overall KK has it all over him this year!

If Hayne did not back up after SOO, it is my opinion the Eels would have had fifty put on them.
I thought he was the Eels best back and best forward on the paddock...Daylight second, although Tim Mannah played his slot out, and Poore bent the defence.

I would actually have Humble or Mitch for MK. I think Mortz has been a road block for our attack in many ways but was showing sign of improvement, atm i would stick with him but he is very close to losing his jersey to humble. Horo and Poore might be better off starting with Moimoi and Mateo off the bench. We need another centre IMO in the last month Wright, Inu and Reddy have all struggled at right centre. I would honestly look at playing someone like Lasalo in the centres to atleast sure up the defenced and move Reddy to the wing.

please! you're prepared to promote a kid coming off the bench and playing backrow in reserve grade, straight to the NRL side in the centres???...I beg you Caylo..I beg you to go out and check a Wenty game from time to time, I understand it may be difficult in your case but just try and do it for your benefit.

our best right centre combo is very clearly Reddy/Grothe..let's keep it that way hey???;-)

I do believe that one of Morts and KK may need a breaqk and Humble has proven that he can compete at 6, that would be a good start.

Even if someone did start supporting the Eels based on their 2009 "success", so what? Isn't that the point for a team to do well? So they appease their fans? If playing well attracts more people to our brand of football then that is a good thing.
