Thanks for the updates. Sounds like we played well. I went to Port to watch 1st grade but will check out the boys next week.

Bryce Cartwright left the stadium with his arm in a sling, injured his shoulder in the warm up but still played. AC joint?

Matts ended up 50 plus to nil. Opposition were very outclassed so hard to judge Panthers against this opposition.

Ball ended up winning 34-16 after being behind at HT 16-10. Was locked up 16-16 with under 20 to go and we run away at the end. Wasn't overly impressive thou and a lot of errors by the Panthers boys. I thought first half was pretty poor although it was extremely hot. Chance came over in the second half which cooled things down. The fullback Watene looks to have the goods. Great physique and very athletic.

Can anyone else in Matts gk? We won 60-0 but kicked 6/12 against decent opposition that will kill us.

Watene should play NYC before the end of the year he is outstanding. The heat didn't help but we bombed some easy tries early on.

I think there is a few kickers in the team, the 12, Jamie Hill can kick. They need to improove in that area because it hurt them if the game is tight.

Seems as if the Harold Matthews coaching staff is yet to settle on the Fullback and Hooker.

Ennis played Round One at Fullback and is back for Round Three. With Milgate playing Round Two.

Collins played Round One at Hooker and is back for Round Three. With Harrison playing Round Two.

Spoke to Jim and Mary Jones on Saturday Night and they said Bryce's injury is not serious at all and he is just having a couple weeks off as a precaution.
