Unfortunately Oliver is only 16. Won't be allowed to play 20's until August.
I have no doubt he would handle it though. He played 19 1's as a 15 year old last year and got player of the competition!
I don't wish to butt in on your thread, but I'm sure Oliver turns 17 this year; therefore, playing a year up like several others in the Pennies SG ball squad.
As a 16 year old last year played in U19 (C grade) for Quakers.
I'll have only seen him play once last year and that was against Parra HM in the semi, while he played well the parra pack handled him and Soni fairly well.
He is with out a doubt a great prospect, but the Penrith comp must have lacked something for a 16 year to win their B&F in the U19s.
I seen a young bloke named Pauli Pauli (Oz school boys, now Parra U20s etc) get absolutely pounded as a 17 year old by hard working district non-rep players while playing up in C grade (U18-19) in the Parra comp a few years ago.
But good luck to him, heard he is a nice young bloke.
