u15 Merit team looks and must be impressive .
But just one problem no Jakiel ? he would of been the first i would of thought to make it out of the CCC squad i have been watching him for a few years now and hes been pretty much unstoppable even shining up a age in the hm for wsas.
even looking at the results from all there games he has scored a few times , not many front rowers score many trys so im predicting he was playing pretty well. I hear QLD maroon #6 Mitchell Grimes was Outstanding in every way

does anyone know who got player of the tournament ?

QLD 9 Sam Harrold was player of the tournament. Jakiel was very quiet in the early games (as were CCC in general). Did improve throughout. CHS 8 was the best prop there the whole week. CCC 4 was given the Catholics player of the tournament.

Yeh the 16s was a close one. Ryan wilson ran 50 metres before grubbering for centre damien mylchrist to score. He then missed the conversion from outwide to keep it a 4-0. This was the half time score.
Doms and Penrith front rower Jason doran then came on off the bench and busted over for a good individual try under the posts which looked to be the match winner with 4mins left to go. But then ryan wilson again showed his brilliance scoring a 50m try beating a number of players to win the game for patties 8-6

Congrats to Qld on there efforts at the ASSRL carnivals.
I really thought Blake Austin should have made it.
Um just a few questions about this years SG ball...
1) Does Harlie Archer go by the name of Shaun, plays 5/8 for Brothers C grade?
2) Who is Anaru Matthews, who does he play for? What position? never heard of him.
3) What position does Cameron Grieve play?
4) Pretty sure i saw the Beale's tonight at U20s training, Alistar and William. Anyone know whats going on with them?

And lastly does anyone remember or know the squad of LAST years SG BALL?
Hope someone can answer these questions.
Thanks.

Blake had a great carnival he showed he can match it with the boys with the big names. He was named ccc's most valuable player for the tournament. Malakai played really strong also. The chs no 7 had a better carnival than jacob miller. Jordan rankin, micheal morgan and ryan james didnt show they had anything more in their games than many of the other boys up there. Interesting to note tum silapa was playing for the vic side that won the other pool and had a strong carnival.

Do you know the answers to any of the other questions?
Especially who is Anaru Matthews?
And who plays 5/8 for Brothers C-Grade?

Anaru was bought out from new zealand apparently by penrith. Was part of this years sg ball although did not play a game.
The 5/8 you are talking about is shaun orcher.

Yeah i found out about Shaun Orcher. He's actually quite a good player. And thanks for answering my question about Anaru, i asked another SG Ball player and i got told he plays for Emu Plains, is that true? Also what PJRLC is Jake Seation assigned to?
