Last game for the Mathews side at EAS.
A win should see them through to the finals with a bye still to come.

Thats good if they make it to the Finals, Also is Mata’Utia any good ?
He is an excellent captain. I think he is the reason our Mathews side is winning a few this year after two shocking years.
When the going gets tough - Mata'Utia puts up his hand for hard work.

Good to see young Kruize Wilson in the starting side... about time the big fella started to live up to his potential.

A pity to see Winston Wilson at 22. I think he is the most impressive of the Wilson brothers. He must be injured.

Don't know a whole lot about Winston, but I've seen a fair bit of Kruize and older bro Wendall (now at Cronulla), and they both have the potential to be good footballers if they stay focussed. Wendall in particular has had a few weight problems, luckily Kruize seems a little more athletic.

They lost 16-14.
That score flatters us a lot because Illa scored 4 tries to 2 - but their kicker never looked like putting one over - and Peter Mata'Utia kicked two conversions and a penalty (three from three).
