Nah, he doesn't discriminate, I remember him smashing a few Newcastle props in 2010.

Seeing as most Kiwis love wearing the Maroon you'd be surprised to hear Glenn is 100% Kiwi. He'd never think of playing for Queensland.

.

100% kiwi, except for the time he played for the cook islands! ;-)

Newcastle aren't exactly known for having a 'great' pack of forwards.

Couple of good players here & there but collectively nothing to boast about in comparison to other clubs.
Late 90s early 00s we had a great pack

2001 for eg had Perry, Bedsy, Parso, Simpson, Kennedy and Peden. Thats 4 rep players

I know what your saying though, we generally have had tough no nonsense forwards outside of the rep stars. Im happy with that tbh as its all you really need to give your superstar backs room to score points. Pity we have lost that over the last 5 or so years

Not a lot when you consider Parker plays 80 minutes for Brisbane regularly.

I am not sure he is up to it at Origin. If the maroons get out to a good lead it won't be an issue but he seems to have a few bad errors and misses in defence when fatigued for the Broncs.

Time will tell I guess

Yeah, but Harrison seems to have the same defensive errors in him too. See the missed tackle on Carney that led to the try in Game 2. Harrison's and Parker's stats each week at club level are similar apart from Parker doing a lot more with the ball in hand. I'd back him to fill the role well, but I'm a little biased.
