has anyone ever set up 5 tries in a losing side?

Hayne has been credited with 4 try assists. Still impressive I know............but may as well have our facts straight.

Paulo and Ryan have the other 2.

*edit* Or maybe the 5th one was the try assist he did for the Raiders when he let Dugan strip the ball off him and Papalii went over?

He really set up 7 tries, but Cheyse Blair and the unco winger outside him actively work against Hayne. Hayne doesn't need good halves, good or bad they make no difference, he does his own creating. What he needs are centres and wingers who can actually finish a f**king play, catch a ball and fall over the try line. The Parraspastics on the outside are not capable of this.

He also has the biggest most deadly bomb in the game, so if just one Parramatta player could catch (other than Hayne) it'd be a bonus too.

What a load of bollocks. A good player makes those around him look and play better. Case in point is what Carney has done to the Sharks' centres Pommeroy and Best. Pommeroy is noted for his poor handling, whilst Parramatta have Willie Tonga - a QLD player.

Every year, Parra fans talk about how Hayne would go great in any other side, yet Parramatta recruit and recruit yet have the same result. Unlike other posters - I firmly believe that he would not have made the QLD side - he simply doesn't fall in their game plan.

He doesn't fall in anyone's game plan - and that is his biggest fault.

Oh f**king please, it's as much Hayne's fault that his outside spastics are shit as it was Carney's fault a week back that Pom and Best reverted to their old shithouse ways. Strangely despite Pom and Best showing here and there glimpses of their true nature I never saw any Sharks fan (or anyone at all) blaming it on Carney. There's no cure for outside backs who can not finish a 2 on 1 in an acre of space, just as there isn't a cure for blind and clueless.

Tonga has played what 4 games? 3 with Hayne? Less? You're just another downy merkin who likes to comment on Hayne but doesn't watch Parra games.

You do realise Tony Abbott is the member for Warringah?
Umm, Walt, why does Canberra exist again?
My club has someone that plays for Australia..........your club has won 1 game and lost 9 this year.
My dad's clubs bigger than your dad's club
Paulo and Ryan have the other 2.
The other two what? Your remaining brain cells?

Interesting that Pete cash lives in Port Macquarie..........

What a load of bollocks. A good player makes those around him look and play better.
Then how come with Dugan they let the NRL's version of Marvin the Paranoid Andriod score 30 points in a few minutes, yet with Campo you look top 4 material?

Canberra exists as the Capital City of Australia because Melbourne and Sydney couldn't come to a compromise...........we all learned this in school. What's your point?

Tony Abbott lives in Sydney he simply works here.

I worked in Mebourne for 6 months once...........I didn't consider myself a Victorian.

My dad's clubs bigger than your dad's club

 Well that was your own poor attempt at an insult buddy.

The other two what? Your remaining brain cells?

Try assists. It was in the first sentence of my post. But I guess being unable to read explains a lot.

To answer the original question i might be wrong but i seem to recall Jason Smith having a good game in Canberras infamous 70-32 loss to Newcastle in 2006 and setting up all their tries. He might have got 4 or 5 try assists in a losing side that day.

Dugan has more dignity then to accept a demotion to the wing.

Care to say that to,

Inglis
Tate
Slater
Hodges
Boyd

reason why these guys pull on the jersey for QLD and not give a shit where they're playing is because they're proud to support their state.

Granted Hayne hasn't had a good fist of fullback for NSW as of yet but yes we have Stewart in the number 1.

Dugan won't play another origin game unless one of Hayne and Stewart are injured.

Hayne will do well in origin, always does no matter where he is. Fullback, Wing, Centre, still has good games

i think he would easily take Boyds wing spot, Boyd is a solid player for QLD never puts a foot wrong, same as Hayne for NSW.

So i think he would get picked for QLD tbh
Could even take Tates spot too

Whats this talk about Hayne being as good.as.GI ? THAT WILL DO ME

ARE YOU SERIOUS

This shits me too.

GI plays what 4 games at FB and has good games and now he's the next f**king Billy Slater? really? GI plays a bit like Hayne, has the size and speed and play making ability, and like Hayne can be lazy

but imo for NSW i'd have Stewart then Hayne over Dugan. Dugans one game for NSW although not terrible wasn't much to be remembered for.

Made a few bad errors especially in the in-goal getting mixed up with other NSW players

Hayne has consistently performed well for NSW - only time he is consistent
