The dragons will do ok during the rep season, in my opinion they showed they are capable of going through it with out too much damage.

Hi Guys,

Not too sure about that, although I guess we won't be losing too many.

Boyd, Coops and perhaps one more. I guess that proves we are a brilliant team rather than a team of stars.

I think this rep weekend is much different to City V Country...

While yes for starters we wont lose as many players for Origin, Origin has a much better placement.

For one on the weekend prior to the game we will be able to know exactly who can play and who cant allowing for a team to be named and an actual preparation to take place for that week with or without replacements depending on who is selected.

And also the game being on the Wednesday night allows for some kind of cool down period so that any players backing up dont need to travel halfway across the country the night after playing and then play another 80 minutes of rugby league.

Going off what they boys showed tonight in the ticker department I think we will be just fine during the Origin season. Mick Weyman is doing things that I never thought he would be able to do with the help of even a fairy godmother... See those great around the bootlaces tackles he made on Thurston 2-3 times when he sliced through...

Paea showed promise to fill a hole, Jon Green I still like but when he came on the field we were under the pump so hard to gauge him totally but he's a big lad he can hold his own and if Hornby keeps on working at it he will become exactly what we need in that 7 for the remainder of this season.

i agree 100% with matty. city country and the test match was much more awkward then origin will be. yet all the boyst hat did back up di a great effort. i felt soward might of been down on confidence from the country match since he only got 10mins and was played at centre not hooker or halves. i think he got cut and showed abit. so friday night boys we need to jump start his confidence

Super Sowie was pretty heavly strapped on his hip, Kid looked like he was a drug mule... or an FBI imformant wearing a wire...

Definately playing with injury, probably should of been rested...
IN WAYNE WE TRUST...

The problem is that this week we had our rep players return for this round vs Nth Qld. During Origin, those that play will not be in the St George side that week.

No it's quite the opposite, our form can alter. You take out Boyd, Cooper, and possibly Weyman, Poore, and Creagh and that is a significant number of our players we will be missing for 3 games.

YES, totally agree.

IMO we really missed Ben Creagh, Beau Scott and Jeremy Smith last night. It was a terrible game of footy and alot of dropped ball, The Dragons only had themselves to blame though as the Cowboys game them plenty of oppertunity to win the game but bad decisions on the last brougt them unstuck.

What a shame the last pass from Matty Prior didn't go to Del. That would have sent Hornby, Prior and Del into the starisphere of stardom for ever more.

Soward had wicked strapping on his hip... Looks pretty fat... A bit Homer Simpson like with the round gut!!!

Yeah his confidence was a bit down but he will be ok. Needs a few days off i think to get his body and head good again. He will be right

I'm not so sure Cooper will be in the team. All the talk after C v C was how good Michael Jennings was and with the fact that Jamie Lyon actually had one good game against the broncs yesterday it would not surprise me if those two are the NSW centres and Coops misses out...

I think we'll be missing Creagh, Boyd and Weyman though.

The performance from the Dragons on Saturday night was great. The Cowboys played well imo and while they got a few 50/50 calls go their way, so did we. I like the Dragons fight this year, when we get behind on the scoreboard we have not yet gone to pieces. Could have easily been a win for us up in North Queensland if the last play went different. Rematch down in Wollongong will be great.
