Some of Coggies best work was when he rang 2GB pretending to be Brian Canavan (the Roosters CEO at the time). He launched into Roy Hardley like a pitbull accusing him of one of the most biased calls he'd ever heard. Ray got soooooo worked up, you could hear his voice start to crackle and waver, he kept screeching back some very colourful language at the would-be CEO. Ray hung up in a huff, unable to stay focused, he went to a very long ad break. On his return, he launched into Brian Canavan again, this time a more controlled verbal assault.

5 minutes later the real Brian Canavan rang up, demanding to know what on earth was going on. Ray ended up apologising. He'd been had, big time

Cockburn (we used to see him regularly on the Souths forums) is not a pinch on Reefy.

Reefy has a cult status, so much so I expect to see a line of merchandise on the shelves of department stores very soon.

Cogburn bugged just about everybody on here. He truly got on peoples nerves in a way that I honestly think will never be duplicated.

People like guys like Razor, Moffo etc. Rooster Cogburn was a different kettle of fish. Posters were in withdrawl for ages after he stopped posting.
