Last year, teams needed 34 points to make the four, 32 to make the eight. 15-9 plus the bye was the mark you needed. That was an abnormally even comp though.

In 2017, you needed 36 to make the four and 30 to make the eight. 13-11 plus bye was good enough for eighth.

We're currently 3-4. So assuming 13-11 is the mark, we need to go 10-7 for the rest of the season to make the eight. To get 34 points (the cutoff for the four in our premiership year), Sharks need to go 12-5.

For and or against is a whole other story.
