Yer I know he has 20 odd Ko's but those were his earlier fights probably against complete hazbeens.

Tell me.....who was the last guy Mayweather......wait a minute....it was Gatti....right right.

It was Gatti and the stoppage.

But Gatti has brain damage anyone can KO him. Alfonso Gomez Ko'd his arse.

Who before Gatti did Mayweather KO?

All his title defenses have been 12 round bore fests!

I can only see a Mayweather 12 round decision myself too at $2 lockdown.

It's hard to go past.

And he will dance and tap all 12 rounds on Sunday.

You're right...Hatton has to knock him out. There's no other way for Hatton.

The draw crossed my mind thismorning.

I'll call my shot closer to fight day.

If Floyd boy can keep his distance he should win, if it comes to a scrap Hatton might just deck him. He might not have the finesse of Mayweather, but Ricky Hatton is as tough as teak.
I have a feeling Mayweather will edge this.

When is the weigh-in? Hopefully they have the obligatory weigh-in scuffle. I don't care if they're staged, i still love seeing them and it pumps me up more for the fight. :lol:

There was a bit of a scuffle push 'n shove.

It's all over the papers and news today.

Is there a umm, You Tube link for the weigh in?

I think Mayweather's secret about Hatton's weakness is the stomach punch.

Mayweather has watched the Tszyu fight against Hatton and seen the sweet punch target.

(The Tszyu stomach punch was legit in my eyes! It wasn't beneath the belt.)

How many times other than Tszyu's knock down has Hatton been down himself actually?

Has he tasted canvas much?

At the end of the day this will be strictly professional and both will go out to Box.
I don't think we're in for anything special.

Firstly Green had been fighting at super middleweight for 5 years before fighting mundine - he won the wbc interim title at that weight plus twice lost to markus beyer at super middle - to say that is an excuse for his loss is rubbish. I am a green supporter i cant stand mundine and his rubbish but lets deal with reality.

Go Hatton - i want him to knock the block off this piece of black american trash - i hate that homeboy gangster crap. ricky needs to chase him all over the ring and not let him settle like he did against kostya. kostya in his prime would have destroyed both of them

1pm I think it starts - though that could be the advertised time including undercard.

Well, I am going against my better judgment noted in this thread and I am laying my hard earned on Ricky Hatton in what will be an upset. The hunger is there and I think he is in the head of Mayweather with the way he is not backing down when Floyd attempts to intimidate.

So, I am covering my bets: $50 on a Hatton win by KO ($5), $50 on Hatton by decision ($5)and $10 on the draw.

Todays weigh in. I cant believe how much support Hatton has at a weigh in, in the USA!

Yeah the british fans are amazing, it's gonna be like a home bout for him. There's apparently gonna be 10,000 of them in the 16,000 arena, and we all know how vocal they'll be.
