I'll say it hayne under performed in 2010 i think our most consistent was Ben smith tbh.

Hayne has every right to question his game etc it shows us he wants to improve and acknowledges he didn't have the best season. Good on him for owning upto some mistakes

It says alot about our current team when a player that's under-performed was still our best this year.
I really hope we get out of this slump that we're in.

From everything I have read, Kearney seems to have what I consider to be the most important ability for a coach in ant sport in the modern era - he is an excellent man manager and motivator.....you can always learn the tactical side if a sport or surround yourself with experts, but it is very hard to develop these ppl skills!

The whole team needs to step up. not just hayne.
Hope Kearney can motivate the rest of the team, hayne can't do everything!

I think we will do pretty well next year tbh in the top 6 is my prediction! Michael maggots assistant under Bellamy before Kearney won the super league with wigan in his first year I believe kearney will do well he comes from a good coaching system

I think Benny was solid, but he seriously drives me mad that almost every game he still gives away at least one dumb penalty and a dropped ball

AND it always seemed to be the FIRST penalty of the match..and a dropped ball in a scoring position. BUT I'll say this, in my opinion, he was one of the best players under Daniel Anderson..

Hayne was interviewed by Johnny Gibbs on Sports Tonight, 2UE. When asked about Kearney he said that the new coach was all about camaraderie something ( according to Hayne ) that was lacking this year.

Just goes to show how mentally weak the players are, and have been, for the last 20 years or so.

Fair dinkum the camaraderie that you assume would have been developed after the 09 efforts was hard to find in 2010.

Wow, he benched Issac Luke and people are already saying "WTF?"

Just wait and see if the game plan works. I think you will find it will work a treat and NZ will smash England.

IMO, its good to see that Kearney will bench a star player to suit the game plan.

it's a great move benching Luke, the poms were very tired in the last 20 on the weekend, i bet it close til early in the 2nd half then NZ run over them.
They are not match fit enough and players like Luke coming on fresh will carve them up.
