Can't believe some of the comments regarding Hayne  Inu said almost the identical thing last year and we barely heard a peep...... Talk about double standards.......

The funny thing is at the time of when Inu contemplated the idea i said something along the lines of 'if that was Hayne there would be 5 pages of it by now', not far off:lol:

Aren't Japan sliding into a depression??????

Dunno if I'd be in a hurry to go over there for the bucks at the moment...doesn't seem like such a sure thing.

there is absolutely no such thing as loyalty anymore and the sooner we seperate ourselves emotionaly from these players the better.

the most important thing about our club is the emblem then jersey and then the player....
Well said Stags.

Cheer 'em on while they're with us. Wish 'em well on their journey when they leave. End of.

As for the Hayne v Inu double standard, Hayne wouldn't cop half as much if he put in for more than four games last season... Inu had a poor season by his own standards too, but played about half as many games as Hayne (if you count Hayne's suspension weeks), so understandably cops about half as much over any similar issue.

It's all a beat up by greedy agents and overzealous, melodramatic journalists (the plethora of Japanese rugby articles hitting the news wires right now, not Hayne)

Rugby in Japan is about as popular as sumo wrestling is in Australia.
Spot on, anyone who thinks Japanese Rugby are a force are nuts, they will only target a couple of players and from what I have heard in the past there are alot of ex leaguies overseas who are enjoying the money but certainly not the game, how long will they last? people need to stop panicing and being such doomsdayers.

"The emblem, then the jersey, then the player." That`s exactly how it is......for the fans. But you can`t expect the players to feel that way. They are full-time professionals now. Club loyalty was easy when players still had jobs outside of football (and, nine times out of ten, worked in the local area). And it was easy for players to be loyal to the one club when it was mandatory that they live in the catchment area of the club they played for. But those days are gone, unfortunately. I think it`s the single worst thing that`s happened to Rugby League in the last hundred years. But there`s no going back; and you certainly can`t blame the players for chasing the big dollars - and you can`t call them disloyal. I`m sure they are all loyal to the team while they are playing for them.
