What does that say about Hayne though? F**ken mercenary.
Know one forced the Titans to offer a bloke $2.4 million over two years who didn't want to play there.

That's irrelevant to my point.Know one forced the Titans to offer a bloke $2.4 million over two years who didn't want to play there.
If you sign a bloke who you knowingly admit would rather be playing elsewhere, and this was made abundantly clear to the world at a press conference less than 12 hours after he signed, then I don't think they could expect any more than what they got. The fact that the Titans were willing to pay him $2,4 million is their stupidity, not The Plane's fault.
Hard to argue with any of that...Can’t believe what Im reading. Many players have unwilling been forced out of their clubs to play elsewhere. Hayne fcked off from parra, he wasn’t even an eel.
What if he comes ‘home’ and decides he doesn’t want to have a crack at the eels because he was getting paid more money at the titans.
That’s the issue with Hayne, his fcking attitude.
If he’s been tanking it, he’s a bigger merkin then given credit for.

Hayne chose to accept big money to go somewhere he didn't want to be and has since chosen to do f**k all for the team other than make everything about himself. That's f**ken shit form from Hayne and is a large reason why he is derided by so many fans.
No amount of Chipmunk icing can turn that turd into a scoop of ice cream.

Gary what about Foran, Woods, Teddy, Moses. He was offered silly dollars and took them.
The biggest worry with Hayne was tackle breaks. In 2014 he had 130 odd. 2017 he had 30.
That ranks last in NRL for his position.
Ponga had more with only 7 games.
I don't have an issue with him taking the money either. Most people would do the same thing.I've got no issue with him or anyone else taking the money if it's on offer, but the Titans should've at least done better due diligence before coming up with such ridiculous money.
Beardo also wanted him there as he thought it would help with selling the TitsThe Titans flew a bloke up who had no intentions of signing with them and 12 hours later he signed on the dotted line. The Titans got everything they deserved when offering a bloke who never wanted to be there, so much money that he couldn't refuse.
Sounds like a bet each way.It doesn't make him a mercenary. It also doesn't excuse not performing in the role he chose to take

The issue I have is that his actions have demonstrated a failure to perform at all, which based on what he was being paid is unacceptable. His attitude has been shithouse ever since he walked into the joint. That's what makes him a mercenary.
Even if we pay him sensible money, he would still need to dramatically improve on what he he has served up at the titans.
The risk for us is a lot lower than it was for the Titans. His attitude was fine the last few games of 2016 at the Titans, which is really the only time he ever wanted to be there. Since then he's apparently tried on multiple occasions to get out of the joint.
I think he hasn't performed because he's having a sook because he is somewhere he doesn't want to be and the place he wants to be hasn't really shown any interest in him. He's shown a considerably better attitude at Fiji than he has all year at the Titans. He was pretty good and better than most Qld players for 1/2 the Origin series, but his entire team fell apart after that.
We've played the long game and made him wait, we've made him grovel, we've made him desperate and hungry for our affection. We've decided we will only welcome him back on our terms... I don't see too much risk to be honest.
Sounds like a bet each way.
