Hayne at 37 is better than most blingwads, hammies or not. He’ll go OK.And not as a prop!
37 year old Hayne at five-eighth is shades of Owen Craigie... hope the hammies hold up ok.
Tell me more.The Planes back!
Tell me more.
RMC is what used to be the Jim Beam Cup and Metro Cup back in the day, right??
What was the vibe like in the crowd.I went down to Wenty today to watch. I've been meaning to get back down there for a while so i thought it was a good time to head down. Even got myself a Chip Roll, it was amazing.
Hayne eased himself into the game. His defence was very good, crisp passing and had a few runs. Threw a beauty of a cut out for a try right in front of me. If he can get his body right he could play in that level comfortably for another couple of seasons imo.
Yeah everyone seemed to be cheering him on. I didn’t hear anything negative. What was the vibe like in the crowd.
Overwhelming positive i imagine.
A fallen hero that has been humbled and returning to his roots giving back to the game in the grass roots that he excelled in and gave him a living.
Interesting that DCE is just 12 months younger then the hayne plane.
Shows how much time he still could have had at the top grade if he applied himself and didn't make dumb mistakes off the field.
Looks like he should be playing in the front row...
