I do not wish him any ill. It's not in me as a person, however as a life long Eels' fan and Jarryd Hayne advocate I feel bitterly betrayed. I think that one day he will regret this decision.

He didn't look a happy camper in the Titans press conference. I have no doubt there is some regret already.

At least Hayne looks regretful not being here, dog Lyon dropped a nard on the door mat. They have mentioned he may play 5/8 due to injuries today. I'm over it as well now, he may do a lebron later on when his price could be lower. Either way I'm happy with our team, just need a frickin half

Some noble comments by some on here.

Personally I won't be watching it and have zero interest in how he goes. This feels exactly like Judas Lyon all over again. It's a shame, because if he handled it better, I and tens of thousands of Eels fans would not feel bitter at all.

All he had to do was be honest about negotiations. Say that the Eels offer was too low. Parra declare that they are out. Everyone is in shock for 24 hours. Hayne signs for highest offer. We shake hands and move on.

Instead he had to embark on a childish whinge-fest blaming everything on us and never telling the truth that it just came down to cash. Fine do the best for your family etc. Just say it merkin.

I'll be watching but only cause I watch every game anyways. I won't be watching the dedicated Hayne cam cause I think that is ridiculous!

I want him to have as much success as any other non Parra players, so that is none at all. That's not specific to just him, I feel that way about all non Parra players.

I'm over the fact he isn't going to play for us, that initial anger has petered off over the last 2 days.

All that's left now is disappointment that the player I held in such high esteem felt the best way to handle things was to lie to the very people who supported him.

I have no interest in watching him play.

Silly thing was he actually did well to get to where the ball came down, it just went stright through his waiting arms... lol.

Hope Warriors sent a few spiralling kicks Hayne's way this arvo.

He didn't do well to get to where the ball came down. He didn't need to be anywhere near it.

Yesterdays news anyway. I'm looking forward to watching his NRL return today. He will kill it. Would much prefer it was with us, but with the NRL screwing us over and the NRL owning the Titans this was only going to go one way.

Might as well bring him on. Two shit teams in a boring game. Hayne will spark something and some interest.

Yep, Jarryd was really instrumental in earning his new team a valuable two points, continuing the Titans' momentum after drawing with the competition leaders...

Wait, what? Titans got lapped by fringe contenders NZ Warriors? Lol Jarryd...

Don't forget the Sharks got belted by the raiders this week so perhaps it wasn't such a great feet. We also gave them a run for their money with an average side.

Perhaps the sharkies bubble is bursting.

You can't seriously be blaming Hayne for the loss today???

Look at the our hero throw the ball anywhere, to try and avoid getting smashed by the defence... turning point of the match, Hayne gifts the Warriors the win!

Oh, sorry forgot to toe the media line... Jarryd *jizz*

God told him to...

Or just he's a greedy merkin who couldn't bear to see much money potentially slip out of his fingers.

Or he'll get the Tom Cruise-Scientology equivalent role for Hillsong and their Gold Coast expansion plans?

So, if you were in a workplace where it became increasingly clear to you that your talents were so far above everyone else's, and that you could no longer fulfil yourself in terms of career opportunity or financial reward or just plain job satisfaction (because you were surrounded by mediocrity, ineptitude, and bungling - you wouldn't bugger off to greener pastures? Hayne's playing career has only got another maybe six or so years left. How long has yours got?

I wouldn't bugger off to greener pastures giving no notice, fail at two other workplaces, and then come back and whinge that the former workplace I walked out on didn't call me to offer me a deal to come back... No. Would you?

Hayne's true colours are showing.

Come on mate. Of course Bart wouldn't do that.
He is perfect and Hayne is the devil incarnated.
