It is literally attempting to rewrite the past. It's not revisionist history, it's acknowledging the impact of future on the past legacies.
*anyoneYou shouldn’t cancel Hayne out of existence prior to his offending.
They really can’t because what matters is up on YouTube. His 09 season highlights and basically his entire career. It’s there to be seen and everyone remembers how great he was.You shouldn’t cancel Hayne out of existence prior to his offending.
No, it's saying someone's subsequent (criminal) behaviour means the privilege of being honoured is taken away by the organisation that originally bestowed the honour. It's totally up to that organisation to choose, for reasons that matter to them e.g. damaging the brand. It is literally attempting to rewrite the past.
Yes, came here to post this link re the touch footy game:It sounds like he helped save another life, this time while in prison (last time was at bondi beach involving immense bravery).
Good stuff from the prisoners and then to a much lesser extent the staff for saving the man's life.
Well done.
I think it’s hard for a club to celebrate a former player whilst appearing to not to condone his post career actions. You shouldn’t cancel Hayne out of existence prior to his offending.
Why would he be stripped of medals he rightly won, just because he did something illegal years later?
Is revisionist history ok?
