Looks like the Hayne Plane's comeback didn't even take off...

Jarryd Hayne’s rugby league comeback has been dealt a fresh blow with the former NRL superstar withdrawing from the opening games of the Nines Premier League carnival on the Gold Coast with injury.

Despite being named as a starter for the United team on Saturday, Hayne didn’t take part in the warm-up and was later ruled out of the day’s action.

The two-time Dally M Medal winner is currently nursing a hamstring injury and it is unclear if he will feature in the tournament at all.
Too big for his hammies

How about getting a job
And work like everyone else
🧐

it's funny you say that...

a few years ago I worked with an ex team mate of his who decided to just swap his footy boots with a fork lift licence at a drop of a hat because he knew the lemon had been squeezed out of him and just wanted to move to the next phase of his life.

he tried to talk Hayne into doing the same at the 2018 whilst he was going through his court and legal battle but he wouldn't have a bar of it....

He was only 30 then as well. Such a waste. He should've had a couple of years left in him. If you were world class at 26 you'd think you should still be at least a solid first grader in your early thirties. Tedesco is still going at 32 and Slater played until he was 35.

except he didn't have an offer to resume his career anyway....oh wait! there was that apparent "Dragons" contract he was set to sign but the Dragons denied it ever happened.
