So that civil case against Hayne is still live - and he's now attempting to have those proceedings dismissed.

Hayne has until 23 January to serve his defence, and the court will consider Hayne's motion on 24 Feb and then set a hearing date. If that hearing fails to have the civil proceedings dismissed, they will proceed to a civil trial against Hayne after that.
