Need a trip to OPSM?
I believed you Av.
Don't you and Staggs share the same leak, er I mean source?
I heard it's $800K under the cap, the other $400k is with Trip a Deal.Hayne is on apparently $1.1m under the titans cap next year.
I reckon the titans would fly Hayne first class to any club that offered to pay $500k of that amount!!
Titans could easily pick up a quality back with the $500k freed up.
And when the coaches keep changing but the result stays the same? Does the best player start to stink a bit then?
If the best player is earning more than the coach I suggest he might be expected to be more influential than him too.No-one is suggesting that.
I suggested that the best player has more responsibility than other players.
I also suggested that great players have more of a chance of improving shit teams if they are also great leaders.
Then I pretended to do some work for a bit.
Specifically the best player. If the team keeps failing no matter who the coach is, at what point does the best player deserve some blame?Best player? Or the whole roster?
He will surely want to be compensated for his Trip-a-Deal money as well if he agrees to a payout. Or do you think he just took up his second year option for reasons other than money?I heard it's $800K under the cap, the other $400k is with Trip a Deal.
Both coaches have done better at new clubs.Look at the choice of coaches, RS and SK. I'm not so sure the player was the problem.

Or maybe the player was more interested in building his personal highlights reel for his early departure from contract and planned tilt at the NFL?I'm not so sure the player was the problem. We seemed to go ok in 14. Or the said player had an attitude shift? Or maybe the coach knew how and what to do with the player to extract the best out of him???
I wouldn't swap Arthur's for anyone. You haven't shifted the goal posts in a while. Would you take either back now??

Upon leaving us Hayne said he had achieved all there was to achieve in the code. A team premiership just didn't rate - as can be seen from his performances the guy is not motivated to play, and sadly never will be.
Who am I meant to give credit to? Hayne for being paid much more in his second NRL stint, but delivering much less...?You're guessing mate. I don't like him just like you. But you got to give credit where and when it's due.
Wrong thread...?Take that of us ya merkins!!!
Lol, didn't Hayne get enough acolades at the time for you?
It's ancient history, he's an embaraasing shadow of his former self, damaging his legacy.
