Hayne v DCE

If it came down to chosing between these two who would you take?

When the Knights just beat us at home (we scored more tries and were clearly the better side) Hayne was outstanding, but Andrew Johns gave all 3-2-1 to Knights players.

With the exception of the one great run from The Plane, where he scored a long distance try, I think the Knights as a team where generally outstanding and we were generally mediocre. I think all 3 points to the Knights was fair, even though it was a close game.

The Plane scored 2 points in Round 26 in a game that we were well beaten in. You cannot tell me that The Plane was better than 16 other Raiders players on that day? If he was we would've won the game easily.

Hayne actually ran for 301m , 12 tackle busts, 1 line break and a try. He was excellent that game.

Well then 210m is still pretty good, it is actually well above the average run metres per game then any other player.

Would you say that he was better than 15 of the Knights players on that day though?

I cannot recall too much of individual Knights performances, but I do recall them playing very well as a team.

Playing well as a team is meaningless to the 3-2-1 awarded in Dally M voting. It's a team game but the top three players in a game could potentially all come from the losing team.

I was surprised he didn't get any points for that game especially when all the talk from the game was how good Boyd played when hayne was better. I also don't think he should have got any points in our last game.

21 runs 303 metres (no one came a close 2nd, still on top if you take out his long range try)
12 tackle breaks (no one came a close 2nd)

Just cause a side bumbled their way to a win doesn't mean they had the best 3 players on the paddock, if that's the way you view it, then its kinda like an official only refereeing one side, very unfair

Spot on PB, the Knights scored a lucky try of a poor kick by us. Hayne was the best player on the field that day not his fault his team mates let him down badly.
