Headphones for the gym

Can anyone reccomend some decent headphones to wear while going to the gym.

I'm looking for something with noise cancelling as I would like to listen to podcasts with just talking so I'd like to be able to hear it pretty well.
Wireless is preferable also, but any suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

My brothers both swear by their Beats, but they're f**king expensive.

i use wireless powerbeats, and highly recommend them. My first pair of wireless headphones - Jaybird Bluebird Xs - broke after 2 months due to sweat, as did their warranty replacements, whereas my beats have been going strong for 9 months without an issue.

They don't have active noise cancelling, but do offer decent isolation using the right tips. I listen to podcasts while running on major roads and never miss a word.

If you do sweat a lot or plan on using them in the rain though I would recommend wrapping some cling wrap around the microphone/volume control. That seems to be the weakspot of all wireless headphones.

I use Bluetooth beats most of the time, but they slip off if I’m laying flat on my back, so on benchpress days I’ll use Bose Soundsport in-ear headphones. They have a silicon extension that sticks to the inside of your ear so they don’t slip. Reasonably priced too.

I use the over the ear sports ones below. They arent wireless but they are sweat resistant and dont fall off during any type of activity i do. Wireless are always bloody expensive

I guess the main reason I'm after wireless is because my phone is a iPhone 6plus which is a bit too big to keep in your pocket while working out.

Rumor is that Apple are doing away with the headphone jack in the next iPhone release so wireless might be a good option anyway if you plan to stick to iOS.

I use a cheap 8G MP3 player, bout the size of a large usb stick, for this very reason. My Samsung is too big to carry or strap to my arm

I am thinking of getting those Planotronics Fit. From about $125 on eBay but they are not noise cancelling but as I also do a lot of outdoor training such as running etc as well as gym I need to be aware of my surroundings.

The Jaybirds could be good if you want something noise cancelling. I think they are around 180-200 dollars and I have been told they are pretty durable and sound quality is very good.
