I was listening to the game on ABC Radio last night, and when Matt Head was interviewed he all but said the team played like sh*t and he expected to Sheens to rip into them when they got back to the dressing room. He seemed to be extremely negative about the performance.

I thought this was a bit surprising, given a slightly more happier interview with Heighington just prior.

It sounds like Head knows he's just a fill in half, no matter how well he plays.

I didn't hear the comments but was at the game and he's right, we were pretty f**king terrible. Of course I'm happy with the win, but not the performance. We can't keep gifting opposition field position, if we do that to the Broncos next week they'll have 30 on us by half-time.

All games against cronulla are ugly though. They wrestle and try to strangle the life out of every game they play because Stuart knows if it gets down to football they'll get murdered. They are a spoiling, negative, wrestling side and yesterday was never gonna be pretty

our fifth tackle options were shocking, never looked like getting repeat sets. Why Hogo and benji were kicking and not Head has me puzzled.

Anyway a wins a win and just think if Johnny Cronk had put THAT kick in it would have landed in Botany Bay or would have landed in a sharks bread basket for a length of the field try.


I still think Heads not in Sheens big picture for the season. Lets hope he start taking his medication and see the light

considering we never win the tight games... lets just take it... damn I went to the game, it was exciting stuff even with our plethora of mistakes. but the b*stards hung in there, kept their composure and got the win infront of a heaps good crowd and a lot of tigers faithful, WHILE playing an away game, that doesn't happen often. And it was unfortunate that Captain Courageous missed two shots... could have been 24-16, which would have looked better.

it was also sweet considering some Sharky diehard gave me such a hard time during the game lol... i liked having the last laugh.. (again).

As a player Rhino had every right to be happy with the win.

As a half considering his kicking game was off and many stupid errors were made across the park than Head was spot on to say we were sh*t

Where did I make such a claim, or anyone else for that matter.

I am saying Head is right to expect a coach to have the sh*ts after a less than perfect game. He was obviously just as pissed off with himself as he thought Sheens would be at the teams performance.

I don't see how on earth that is a bad thing. It means he is not happy after a mediocre win. Yes they will be happy with the 2 points but other than that they have much to get right

Sheens is most critical of players he thinks has the most to give from what I have seen
