Apparently not suicide - suss sleeping tablets mixed with pneumonia caused him to go into cardiac arrest which he could not recover from.

Pretty sad...

Absolutely gutted. I've enjoyed pretty much everything I've ever seen Heath in (the exception being Sin Eater) and I think the best was definitely yet to come from him.

I know it's selfish to say, but I am pleased that they had finished shooting Dark Knight - as I think this is a movie that will go down as one of his greatest achievements. From what I've seen, he's made the Joker his own and it will be a role he's forever remembered for.

An absolute tragedy, though. In my eyes, he was the best actor (male) Australia had out there anymore.

It will make The Dark Knight seem very Brandon Lee Crow-esque don't you think?, the eery feeling knowing that the man you are watching on screen is now actually dead but it isn't an old movie.

Probably get a Cult like following as a result.

Well it is a very sad day for the ledger family and Australian Cinema, i hope Matilda grows up ok.

RIP heath, you seemed like a good person and you were a great actor.
