Did anyone get to the game in time to watch PL? I'm wondering how Hegarty went and whether he's ready to step straight back into first grade yet.
I know it's a bit early, but we need him (only if he's back at least close to form).

replace Walker with him, and the Roosters will go back to killing the comp(even tho Byrne will probly get repplaced)

I didn't think Byrne was that bad, and his defence has been pretty solid for the most part this year ... much better than Walker. I don't think last night's effort was bad enough to warrant Byrne's dropping given how he's been going all year.

However, Heggs apparently has a few kilos to lose and some fitness to regain. I'm hoping they enforce an alcohol AND pizza ban on him for the next couple of weeks and he trains hard (I'm assuming that he hasn't re-injured his ankle, of course). The injury update site hasn't got him listed and they are usually quick with updating the site.

I guess it all depends on how well he went last night which brings me back to my initial question.

Apparently he played a full game in Premier League last week, so shouldn't be too far off making his return - fingers crossed, 'cause we really need him!

All your outside backs are gymps. We've got blokes running around in Harold Matthews that go better than your blokes.

The reason you guys got SMASHED by the doggies, was because your hopeless outside backs couldn't stand up and be counted with the dog's superior backline.

The ex-PANTHER, Freddy can't be expected to do all the work in the backline.

He posts here more than he does his own forum. Not that I'm complaining mind cause it keeps me in a job and we are kicking his forum with the replies, posts and activity. Every post he makes is a point for the Roosters. :D

Good thinking PP. Did you do Psych 101 at Tafe?

Those nicey nice tactics won't sway me in any way from giving it to you guys. I call a spade a spade. Your side has got some very good players, and they are a well drilled outfit, and rightly deserve to be sitting on top of the ladder.

But.......

Hodges is a cat. Crocker isn't much better. Morley is a thug. Walker is a dead set gymp. Finch is a mummy's/daddy's boy, and.....worst of all, the easern suburbs of Sydney is full of pretenders.

Tragic, I know, and I feel for you guys, and wish you could see the light on these issues.

Have a nice day :D

Pen, Pen, Pen. I just read the bottom of your sig and now have that damn Martika version of the Carol King classic stuck in my head.
I can still remember her skipping across the stage in the film clip.

Do you the remember the other hit she had?

The song Prince wrote...

"Love, thy will be done. I can no longer hide, I can no longer run....."

Geez thats sad....

Just an update on Hegarty:

I was watching the Premier League game last night (Hegarty scored a try, btw). Anyway, we were in the member's section and Gus came out to watch the guys running around in the second half. I went and had a quick chat with him and asked him about Hegs and how far he is off first grade. He said Hegs has got about 2-3kgs to shed and that he can't maintain his top speed beyond 30 metres yet. He didn't give me a timeframe, but it doesn't sound too far off.

Hey Fibro, I see ugh boots are back in fashion. Who knows maybe flannelette shirts and mullet haircuts might come back in fashion at the same time and you would actually look cool.

Dont get in the close queue Dice, hop in the one that is a bit further away.

Ps. I heard it makes a lot more sense to pay $300 a week and pay a mortgage, than $500 a week on rent and $6 cups of coffee.
