I saw Fui on the weekend and he was certainly not what I expected. I was expecting to see a Big Fat Kiwi Rugby Front Row Rolly Polly looking bloke! But, he actually looks like he can play a bit and has some First Grade potential.

I would like to see him where he doesnt have to start a game though. I guess Smith is trying to get him to play longer in PL to get his fitness up. I think he would be good in First Grade coming off the Interchange after 25 mins. Give him 15 mins, then a 10 minute break for half time then give him another 10 mins before replacing him and maybe bring him back for another 10 mins a bit later in the game. His defence is solid when fresh, but very odinary when fatigued.

Fui looks like he can play. Preferably I would like to see Kaufusi given a run now as he has played first grade before and has a half-decent track record. Moi Moi is the type of player we want to be playing when the team is playing well. The team could accomodate him playing ten - fifteen minutes a half if thats how he will be played whereas at the moment we are playing so much defence that players need rotating on a regular basis.

IMO Armit was disadvantaged by the injury to Prince. With O'Dwyer moving out wider and I believe Widders coming onto the field it usedup an interchange. Stapleton and Peek seemed to play longer than was normal. Armit is a good kid with plenty of promise - to early to quit on him yet IMO.

Are all not a pimple on the backside of the greatest ever back rower Nathan Hindmarsh!!
I would not swap NH for all 6 of the players you have mentioned!!!

If you say so....

Actually Fletcher, Minichiello & Manu have been very good so far. Minichiello in particular has really come a long way, i've been really impressed with him. What we have over Souths in the forwards is experience but they have plenty of enthusiasm. This will be a far more difficult match than what it looked like 4 weeks ago. We cannot afford to get cocky because they could spring a real surprise on us if we take them lightly.

Having said that, playing at home i'm expecting nothing less than a victory and in particular a big perfromance from Cayless who has been playing far from his best this year.
