Help Needed - Getting to Brookie via Public Transport

Hi guys,
I'm a Cronulla supporter looking to come out to the game on Sunday via public transport with my girlfriend, but I've got no idea on how to get there.

I'm coming from Liverpool station, and I was wondering what the closest station to the footy field is. Is it walking distance to the ground, or will I have to catch a bus? If I do have to catch the bus, could you give me a link to the website so I can check out time tables?

Also, how far is the leagues club from the ground...because if it's not too far, I might be able to jump on the courtesy bus service its going.

The leagues club, I'd estimate, is between a 5 and 10 minute walk from the ground. I don't know about public transport though sorry...

there are NO train station's anywhere near Brookvale Oval.

You will have to get into the City and catch an L88,L89,L90 to warringah mall and then walker for around 5 mins to the gorund.

I love Brookie (its my second fav ground after leichhardt) but its a pain in the neck to get to via public transport

You'll have to get the bus from wynyard but it takes a while - I think you'll find timetables at www.sta.nsw.gov.au
