Help needed

The Netwon Junior Jets are looking for people to help out on game days especially with the ground manager role and canteen. It is very easy on a Sunday morning and you get a free meal and drinks for just scoring and timekeeping and checking the cards before each game.
The club needs help so if you can do it when you can please let the club know. your support is vital.

The juniors do a lot of good work folks and we would really appreciate your help. there are so many kids wanting to play footy at newtown these days its hard to find staff for all the teams.

Anyone who volunteers to help the jets gets an autographed copy of my latest book-on-tape, BTJ: Football, Forums and Philosophy.

That should boost the numbers ey BB?

BTJ, We want people to help not inflict mental injury with your book on tape and while you do your bit for the club unless you can sober up and help out in the mornings for an hour at Tempe.

It seems very quiet in here when it comes to helping out, obviously fo non Sydney folks it makes it a bit hard but some of our current helpers travel from Campbelltown as often as possible and all to help the kids.
So if you live closer than Campbelltown and can donate 1 hour on a Sunday morning to sit on the scorers table or help in the canteen please let the club know.

BB I'll come down when I can but as it is it is a struggle to get away from work to get to the game on time.

People the Juniors is a great place to sit around and chat about Saturday's jets game or as a launching pad for the Sunday arvo match. If the jets are abroad you can stick around and have a beer in the Jets club or wander down and watch the A Graders.

In all seriousness any help is good help (ffs they let Bluebag in on the job!)

Thanks BTJ, I saw you play the A-reserves and A-grade today and the famous windmill defence did not let me down but just t he team. I notice a lot of viewings of this post but all quiet and again please just give 1 Sunday morning to help the kids is that too much to ask, it would be a shame if they closed down the canteen to have staff to do the ground and lost money for the kids.
While many have said it is great to have the juniors it would be even better to keep them going.

Bugger off BB I missed one tackle late into my second game.

HOw many of those premier league fairies could aim up and play two games back to back, the first of those with only 11 blokes on the field?

I guess if you dont try and tackle you cant say you missed one and as you did not try to tackle about 20 blokes well........
