Possibly, but rugby league and union used to feature on FOX SPORTS WORLD which has turned into FOX SOCCER CHANNEL.

A RUGBY channel is league's best chance to get TV coverage in the USA. IMO.

Fill it out and add 'Show rugby league as well' in the comments box down the bottom.

It's Lachlan Murdoch's favourite code. I don't see why we can't get a slice of the RUGBY channel.

Either way I think it is our best bet.

This is all a load of rubbish. So they may get 35,000. Who cares. People vote more than once and 1000s of votes come from people who will have no access to the channel anyway.

So they start up a channel.... and insufficient numbers sign up cos 1000s and 1000s of votes are just from people pushing RU or RL and it is no reflection at all of how many will actually get the channel.

Putting in replies if you are overseas will NOT help us--they need to see that this channel is a financial viability for the USA, not that Aussies and Brits would like to see the international profile expand. It would only hurt Rugby to see a channel go on the air and then go bankrupt from lack of viewers.

Thanks for trying though! If you have any expat friends, tell them to fill out the survey and get North America a 24 hr rugby/aussie rules station, like you have Down Under.

By the way, footy programming has not completely died here. We still get one RU game weekly (shown twice), an RL game (feed stolen from Sky Sports), and AFL Films' Game of the Week and Aussie Rules Highlights. However it's own at 2 AM Eastern--talk about watching Yawnion! Thank god for TIVO!
