help with laptop

When I start my laptop up I get two errors and my screen is really dull and I can't open the power manager thing to fix it. I'm a n00b with this stuff and I get this errors -

This application has failed to start because fusion.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft\Framework\v1.1.4322\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded

Where does one find this fusion.dll file?

This is a .NET Framework issue.

Download mscorwks.dll here :

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?mscorwks

go to to :

c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft\Framework\v1.1.4322\

and replace the mscorwks.dll file with the one you've just downloaded.
