I watched Manu playing for Ellersllie/Otahuhu in the BC against
Mt Albert on Saturday. I'm not sure if he is quite ready yet. That was
only his third game since the trial game. I guess they just have to
chuck him in and see how he goes....

Why he is so special to keep is beyond me.

Scored 2 MORE tries on the weekend. Is big, quick and has top hands. Has everything over Murphy and Fa'afili, plus he's young with a real future.

I thought he played well for us - he got caught out twice against the Raiders not having an experienced defensive relationship with Stacey Jones and hence not knowing how to work together to stop Wiki on the line. On the wing, he could gain that experience and work his way to the forefront. The game he played against the Sharks on debut was class. I thought he went decently against the Eels. He rarely misses a one on one tackle from what I saw.

From only 4 games, Paul "The Chief/Who? I don't recall him playing for Newcastle" Harragon rates him as our very best prospect.
